Whoo-hoo!! My very first Animoto! I have selected a lesson on the Giant Panda which I believe would be appropriate for grades 3-5. Take a look and see what you think.
One thing I will say is Google Chrome gave me some difficulty in my ability to embed this video, so I ended up going to IE9 instead.
Brian, I learned some new facts about pandas after viewing your Animoto! Who knew that only one of the two babies is fed and bathed? I didn't realize how pint sized they are at birth! Your graphics, facts, and music make this a highly engaging video. How do you envision using this in the classroom? Will this be an introduction to a larger unit? Just curious!
ReplyDeleteBrian, I really enjoyed this video. I thought the music you chose was perfect; it went well with the images without overpowering them. The images were great, too. Like Andrea, I also learned a lot of interesting facts about pandas. I can't believe they spend 16 hours a day eating! I can see students in grades 3-5 enjoying this video and learning interesting facts from it.
