Harriet Tubman and the Underground Railroad -- My Digital Story

I finally managed to get my digital story to function correctly!  Not only that, but I have now successfully uploaded my first Youtube video, something I never expected to accomplish. Here is the result:

Please let me know what you think.  It was quite a fun experience, but I think I will avoid Photostory 3 in the future as there are not enough variables to play with when creating a composition.

  1. Great job Brian! I really enjoyed the incorporation of the song "Follow the Drinking Gourd" into the story. I love the images, especially the photographs of Tubman. This production could be used with students in middle school all the way through high school. I can tell that you put a lot of time and effort into your story and the final product clearly shows that.

  3. I agree with Andrea. I think this digital story was really well done. Brian, you mention that you might not use Photo Story 3 again, but I think this video came out great. It's an engaging way for students to learn about an important historical figure.

  4. Great digital story Brian! You did an excellent job on the voice narrations. I think you might have a second career!! The pace of the photos and music together was perfect. This would be a good teaching tool in any class that incorporates writing and technology.
